I am a student in an E309k class at the University of Texas at Austin. One of our course objectives is to create a web page and submit it in the interest of making the student more comfortable with the technology. As a philosophy major there are those who believe that I shouldn't even be on the net. In an effort to bridge this culture gap I have decided to make my project one with philosophical implications. My topic is the search for a connotation of romantic love as perceived by my peers. I think that most people concede that love is an emotion. In light of this I have decided to that I'm not going to try to tie down an emotion to linguistic boundaries. Instead, I'm going to go out and find peoples descriptions. My thought is that maybe if I find enough the reader will get a connotation, a feeling, for what my generation thinks love is. What better way to describe a feeling than with a feeling?
